About this course…

The 2357 level 3 NVQ diploma is made up of a mixture of knowledge and performance units.  The knowledge units are assessed via on-line exams and assignments whilst the performance units are assessed by on-site visits in the workplace.

Depending on the certificates you have already achieved you will be exempt from completing some of the 2357 knowledge units. You may therefore only require one additional knowledge unit.

Who is it suitable for?

Anyone who wishes to become a fully qualified electrician that has previously achieved a City & Guilds 2330 certificate.

City & Guilds 2357-34 NVQ Diploma Assessments:

You will need a series of assessments to prove that you are operating on site at the level of an electrician. You will also need to prove that you have covered a suitable range of work e.g three different types of wiring system to a commercially acceptable standard.  You will demonstrate your performance though assessor observations and professional discussion with your assessor.

You will also need to complete the AM2 test to complete this Diploma

What happens if I fail an assessment?

You will have a very good chance of passing your assessments at the first attempt as our courses are very thorough and our tutors are there to guide and support you.

If it doesn’t go right for you on the day the main thing, is not to worry – it happens from time to time.

Your tutor will review your score with you and you may just need to review your notes again and sit the exam a couple of days later. This is often all that’s needed.

If you and your tutor feel you need a little more support we can agree some extra 1-1 training for you.
